At key stages during the video, the visuals would upgrade to visually accompany the giant leaps in sound technology.
With each leap in technology there was an increase in available channels. With Atmos channels no longer matter, as we move into object based sound. Atmos adapts to the system. It can literally scale from your blockbuster movie experience, to your living room and to the headphones on your mobile device.

NEXT SLIDE
Prior to Atmos the sound would be represented by the speakers emitting sound lines. Atmos would be seen with objects swirling around the viewer and the scene transitioning from movie theater sound down to headphones.
